In 1990, Sharon Froelich, opened up her upholstery business called Froelich’s Upholstery. She started out in the basement of her home working on many different types of upholstery projects. She has had a passion for interior design, and after over 20 years of reupholstering furniture, she turned to her passion and expanded her business to open up a retail store to completely service all of her clients needs. Feather Your Nest Interiors LLC, opened in June of 2010 in Historic Downtown Muscatine and is owned and operated by Sharon and her husband Dennis, long time residents of Muscatine. Their daughter, Alyshea Froelich, has recently joined the store and she brings 12 years of interior design and sales experience to the company.
In October of 2011, Feather Your Nest Interiors LLC, expanded their store to include a Design Center. In the Design Center there are over 4,000 fabrics to choose from for any of your custom needs whether it’s new furniture, reupholstered furniture, draperies, bedding, or custom headboards.
